So DeviantArt demands that I pay to have my profile customizations visible to "everyone". Ya. Gonna move more and more features from free to pay. I guess they are really hurting for money. I'd feel more hurt by this if I knew people were actually looking at my profile. But I just assume nobody really looks anyway. So I guess this is no big deal.

So now DA done ruined the ability to see what my watched deviants have recently posted. Instead of just one click to see them, it's 3 clicks and a bombardment of invitations to "shop". It's almost just not worth the trouble anymore. And I imagine this also becomes a barrier against people seeing what I post as well. If I notice a marked reduction in page views, I'll know why. Times are tough, I guess. So I guess DeviantArt is slowly trying to encourage us to pay for some things. ...until just encouragement is not enough and feature after feature becomes pay only. No more freeloaders like that guy Luqu!
